65cm of NT chrome 💥 Pulled this barra out of the Vic River and she absolutely smoked the lure. Nothing beats land-based sessions up here — wild country, big fish, and even bigger hits.

Hooked up running Daiwa gear and nailed it on a Keitech soft plastic — absolute weapon combo 🎣

Like many of you, we’ve been following the recent tragedy involving a young traveller and the dingoes on Fraser Island (K’gari). Our hearts go out to her family, friends and everyone affected. A life lost is always devastating. At the same time, this situation has opened up a much bigger conversation. K’gari is a wild place! The dingoes are not pets, not attractions and not a tame animals. Dingoes are apex predators living in their natural environment. Yes, seeing them up close is truely amazing and something all should experience. However, over time increased tourism, feeding and close human interaction have blurred that line and sadly this is where things can go wrong. We don’t believe this is a simple “blame the animal” situation. Wildlife will always act like wildlife. The real issue sits in how we manage tourism, education and respect for the land and its animals. Culling or euthanising dingoes may feel like an immediate response, but it doesn’t address the long term problem. People entering wild places without fully understanding the risks or the responsibility that comes with it need to be aware of the risk they run doing this. This isn’t about choosing sides.
It’s about figuring out what’s needed to make visiting this beautiful part of the world safer for humans and the dingos, learning, improving management and doing better so tragedies like this don’t happen again. If you explore Australia’s wild places do it with awareness, humility, and respect. These places don’t belong to us we’re just visitors.

Well what a year it’s been! From packing up in Victoria, chasing the coast up the east, across the Top End, and finally landing in Exmouth, the place we now call home 🌊
Every kilometre, campfire, breakdown, fish landed and sunrise was made better by the support from every single one of you.

Even though Exmouth will be home for the year ahead, we’re far from slowing down.
There’s big plans, big trips and even bigger things coming! More camping, more touring, more fishing, and plenty of adventures still to share 🎣🏕️🚐

Finally got our boy Beau up to Exmouth and honestly… he’s already acting like he owns the whole coastline 😂🌅
Living our best life with our little furry man — salty air, red dirt, endless adventures and our Blue Heeler judging everyone at the boat ramp like it’s his full-time job 🐶💙
Couldn’t be happier to have him here with us… even if he steals our snacks and tries to herd the waves 🤎
