End of an era.

Sad to be sharing this, but we are selling our house in Mersey St, and downsizing now our kids are grown and flown. That means the end of Mersey Christmas Lights - at least under our stewardship.

Thank you to everyone who has come and shared a little Christmas magic with us over the years. If you know someone looking to buy a family home in Box Hill and would like to take over the lights as part of the deal, please send them our way.

Otherwise there will be a final goodbye from us in October and we’ll be closing the page down. It’s been a labour of love, an absolute blast, and a privilege to bring Christmas to life for you all.

From our family to yours Merry Christmas. Mersey Christmas Lights will be running tonight and Christmas night until 11:30. And these will be our final two nights, ever. So if you’d like to come down for one last look, you’ll be very welcome. If you’ve always meant to stop by but never made it, this is your last chance. If you’d like to say thank you, we would welcome donations to our for Safe Steps fundraiser, which we have run every year and raised around $1000. It’s been a blast, but all good things must come to an end. Thank you all for coming to be a part of it - the joy on your faces has been what has made the effort of creating the show worthwhile.
