Looked up from gardening and there's a turtle/terapin/tortoise??? sitting on the grass about 100m from the dam. Either he's racing a hare or a bird took him flying.

Some garden highlights today. The massive fleshy succulent flower that is quite solid and the reason I bought the plant. The Tillandsia Stricta (air plant) in full bloom. A close up in one succulent garden. And the very old mossy leather shoes.
