EQUIPMENT CLEARANCE SALE!
I've just had a big cleanup in the shed and have a whole bunch of gear (mainly studio/flash stuff) that is up for sale.
All items are located in Wallsend, NSW.. I can post anything at buyer's expense, some larger items will be *very* expensive to post so would be better picked up.
Feel free to make reasonable offers.
1) Alienbees B800 x2 + B1600 studio kit in pelican cases with Vagabond power pack ***110v 110v 110v***
These are the 110v version and CANNOT be powered direct from the wall.. the Vagabond unit must be hooked up in between.
When I bought the gear, the battery was no longer holding a charge so I installed a smaller one to reduce weight. It's good for about 100 or so fires, but 99% of the time I would just leave it plugged into the wall so it was charging while I was using it. Fire long enough and you will use the battery quicker than the charger can fill it, but the small battery can be replaced by a larger item if that is a problem (and weight isn't an issue for you).
Also includes a selection honeycomb grills.
$1100
** Fairly large of softboxes, umbrellas, etc available as well
2) Pocketwizard Plus II transcievers x5
$380
3) ***SOLD*** Sekonic Flash Master L-358 light meter - http://www.thephoblographer.com/2012/01/22/review-sekonic-l-358-light-meter/
Came with the other gear, I never took it out of the box, appears the previous owner never used it either.
$250
4) Lightpro Expan Complete background support - https://www.dragonimage.com.au/lightpro-3-hook-expan-set-for-background-system-4-hook-shown.html
Never used, $250
5) Studio background paper "Savage" brand x3 - black, white, grey
$75 each, $200 for all three
6) LowePro Trekker 400AW camera bag - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist.jsp&A=details&Q=&sku=652788&is=REG&fromDisList=y
Previous model of Trekker 450AW - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1077478-REG/lowepro_lp36775_pro_trekker_450_aw.html
$150
7) Scrim and scrim frame - 1200x900mm I think
I built two scrims, the paper on one was well dead so it's just the frame, the paper on the other is old but passable. Will come with two sheets of new paper and a protip - Eckersley's is where you can buy more replacement paper if you need it :)
Frames are quite sturdy with metal bracketing, but still very light.
$50 for both
8) Lexan sheets for backgrounds/bases - one gloss black and one pearl white
$20 each
9) Old window frames from the Wallsend Community Centre, probably 100 years old, had plans to turn them into frames with photos of Newcastle in them but never got around to it. Good little project.
$50 each
There are also a bunch of other bits and pieces, large and small flash stands, modifiers, etc etc.
