✨ I will never be the photographer you expect me to be. ✨
I will never be the photographer who turns up in stiff clothes, stands ten feet away with a camera and tells you exactly where to stand.
I will never be the photographer who tells you “we can’t do that” without at least figuring out whether there’s a safe, sensible, slightly-unhinged way we can give it a bloody good crack. 😂
I will be the photographer who turns up in thongs because apparently we’re getting in the creek today.
The one with a goofy attitude, an energy drink in hand and absolutely no shame about climbing a tree, scrambling up a rock or lying in the dirt if that's where the shot is.
I’ll laugh with you.
I’ll vibe with you.
I’ll probably hear your entire life story before we’re done.
There will probably be laughing.
There might be crying.
And if you cry, there is a very high chance I’m giving you a hug. 🖤
I will probably make something awkward.
I will trip.
I will swear.
A lot. 😂
(I promise I’m considerably more professional around certain audiences. 😉)
If you’re excited, I’m excited.
If you’re silly, I’m silly.
If you want to run barefoot through the bush, get muddy, climb something, splash in water or do something a little different — I’m fu***ng in.
And if your session involves stepping outside your comfort zone, getting a little vulnerable, maybe losing a few layers and embracing a version of yourself you don't always get to see… I’ll be right there hyping you the entire way. ✨
I will tell you that you’re beautiful — and I’ll mean it.
Because I’m not just there to take pretty pictures.
I want you to feel something.
I want you to laugh until your face hurts.
I want you to forget the camera is there.
I want you to feel powerful, sexy, silly, soft, wild, confident, emotional, fu***ng YOU.
I want you to walk away thinking,
“Holy sh*t… is THAT me?”
Because underneath all the chaos, the swearing, the energy drinks, the questionable footwear and my general inability to behave like a normal photographer…
I care deeply about what I create for you.
I care about the little moments you don't even realise I'm catching.
The genuine laughs. The nervous smiles. The messy hair. The goosebumps. The tears. The moments where you finally stop overthinking and just exist.
I care about creating images that feel like you, not just images that look pretty.
So yes, I’ll probably climb the tree.
I’ll probably get in the water.
I’ll probably make you laugh when you're trying desperately not to.
And I’ll probably have you doing something that makes you question my sanity.
But I’ll also be watching the light, finding the angles, chasing the moments and doing everything I can to give you photographs you’ll fu***ng love.
Because I don't just want to give you pictures.
I want to give you proof of how beautiful, powerful, wild and completely yourself you can be. 🖤🔮📷
