There’s something incredibly special about being invited into these moments… the quiet, the chaos, the love, the brand newness 🤍

I’ll never take for granted the trust so many beautiful friends, and friends of friends, place in me to capture the beginning of it all. Your stories, your people, your tiny little worlds… it means more than I can put into words.

This one felt extra special; a beautiful friend, her first bub, and a whole lot of love.

Forever grateful to be behind the lens for moments like these.

• TIPS AND TRICKS FOR KIDS AT A SHOOT•

Got ya! What a loaded phrase; it’s like a new parent asking “do you have any advice?” You want to respond with “strap your seatbelt on, there is no advice, god speed, they’re bloody cute!”

But in all seriousness, the advice I AM going to give is going to be a little controversial….

LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS 🫢🫢🫢

I don’t mean for the quality of your shoot, your experience or even getting what you want. You’re paying good money for something so valuable, but…

Lower your expectation of everyone looking at the camera at the same time, everyone standing still or even listening haha

Do value the experience. How they feel, how you feel and how you feel when you leave your shoot.

Let them play, let them make funny faces and say poo and tell mum and dad they’re gross when they kiss. Let them do all the things.

My advice is choose a photographer who values making you ‘feel’ during your shoot. And especially making your kids feel seen, valued and apart of the experience! Kids absolutely can be hard but they truly are the best.

There probably are real tips and tricks but honestly, roll with it, your photographer knows what they’re doing and they all are pretty amazing.

The magic of sunshine, kid energy, and big family love. This shoot has been a LONG time coming, but gee it was worth it! A perfect afternoon with the most perfect big family vibe.

Get the whole family shots. They really are worth the wait.

This is just a little post about availability for the remainder of 2025….

I’ve been a little quiet on socials but super busy off them.
Below is outline of what the remainder of 2025 looks like and what to expect;

August: FULLY BOOKED
SEPTEMBER: 1-2 dates available
OCTOBER: FULLY BOOKED
NOVEMBER: 1-2 dates available
DECEMBER: TBC

This excludes clients who have already been in discussions re tentative dates, your bookings are secure as well as weather reschedules.

GIFT VOUCHER HOLDERS: your vouchers are valid until you receive your session, so please don’t fret, organising large groups of people is tricky and I always do my best to accommodate but for some people this may mean your session will occur in 2026 but please reach out if you have any concerns.

CHRISTMAS MINIS; I am still making a decision re minis and will have an answer in early September. Keep watch on my stories for some Polls so I can better gauge what you’d like out of your mini session.
