📢 A LITTLE BUSINESS UPDATE📢

I hate having to make posts like this, but due to a few recent no-shows and cancellations only 5 minutes before scheduled sessions, I’ve had to make a small change to my booking policy.

As of 1st September, my booking deposit will be increasing.

As a mum, when I book a session, I also have to organise childcare for my own children around that appointment. I’m making arrangements, preparing my equipment, travelling to the location and setting aside that time specifically for your session.

When a session is cancelled at the last minute or someone doesn’t show up, I’m not only losing that booking — I’ve also potentially organised and paid for childcare and turned away other enquiries to keep that time available.

I completely understand that life happens and sometimes things come up unexpectedly ❤️ I’ll always do my best to be understanding where I can. However, repeated last-minute cancellations and no-shows simply aren’t sustainable for my small business.

From 1st September, the increased deposit will be required to secure your booking, and your session will not be considered confirmed until the deposit has been received.

This isn’t a change I’ve made lightly, but unfortunately it’s necessary to protect my time, my business and my family.

Thank you so much to everyone who respects my time, turns up for their sessions and supports my little business. I appreciate every single one of you more than you know. 🤍📸

If you’re new around here, hi! I’m Liv 👋🏼🤍

I’m the face behind Liv in the Moment Photography 📸

I’m a mum to three little ones — three 2 and under — so life is a little bit chaotic, a little bit messy and very full on 🤍 Also photo credit to my little 2 year old 😂

Photography has always been something I’ve loved, but what I love most about it is being able to freeze a little piece of someone’s life in time.

The big moments are beautiful — weddings, welcoming a new baby, growing your family, engagements and all those special milestones — but it’s the little moments I really love too.

The cuddles, the laughs, the tiny details, the crazy kids, the quiet moments, the way your little one looks at you… all the things you don’t realise you’ll miss until they’re gone.

I think there’s something really special about photographs because one day, they can become so much more than just a photo.

They can be something you hold onto when someone you love is no longer here. A little reminder of their smile, their face, the way they looked at you, or simply a moment you shared together. 🤍

That’s one of the biggest reasons I love what I do. I’m not just taking photos — I’m creating little pieces of memories that you can come back to years, even generations, from now.

And I’m definitely not the photographer who expects everyone to stand perfectly still and smile at the camera 😂 I want you to be yourselves, have fun and just enjoy the moment while I capture it.

So whether it’s your wedding day, your growing family, your newest little addition, your love story or simply a season of life you want to remember — I’d love to be there to capture it for you. ✨
