While I usually love shooting in beautiful backlight, this session had a mix of lighting and I actually loved the versatility! The light changed from spot to spot (Some are a little different from my usual backlight glow!), but this beautiful family made everything so easy. So many laughs, cuddles, and genuine moments that didn't need any prompting. 😊

Also a little update - I am now going on a little break from shooting but I'm still here and you may still see me posting from time to time! Next availability will be sometime in October and I will only book a maximum of 2 sessions per month so get in touch now if you're looking at booking to secure your spot 🤍

This family welcomed a cute new addition to their household (who was mostly held and was very well-behaved in the studio, I might add!). I can already tell how loved this little puppy is! 🤍

My recipe for a beautiful outdoor family session:

- Soft, diffused light that flatters and gives you the "glow".
- Location that give kids space to move and explore.
- Movement, movement, movement: cuddles, tickles, running, dancing.
- Coordinated (not exactly matching) outfits that feels like YOU.
- Letting kids be kids.
- Catching the "in-between moments"
- Focusing on connection over perfection.

Every family and session is different and there is no "right way" to show up. No pressure to be perfect - just come as you are and I'll guide you through the rest 🤍

Happy mother's day for yesterday! 🤍

In the studio, we bask in soft light that gently tells your story.

No sessions are ever alike, just like no motherhood journey is ever the same. Every mum, every family, every season of motherhood carries its own kind of beauty. Just like motherhood itself, every experience is completely unique and deeply personal.
..and as much as I loved this handmade floral installation, I'm already dreaming about what next year could look like. I'm thinking of maybe creating something a little different, but as always, still looks timeless. I'd love to know your thoughts. 🤍

Only took me over year to share these...

This sunrise session...
I just love how the golden tones spill over the fresh greens.
Not to mention the yellow wildflowers, scattered and glowing along the coast. 😍
