I was incredibly honoured to be commissioned by the District Council of Loxton Waikerie recently as the official event photographer for the 𝘚𝘬𝘺𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘈𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴 𝘈𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘢 sunrise launch in Loxton.

Standing beneath 𝘚𝘬𝘺𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘦 and 𝘚𝘬𝘺𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘱𝘢 as the sun came up truly took my breath away. We are so lucky that this National Gallery of Australia, touring exhibition made its way to Loxton.

It was such a privilege to meet the artist, Patricia Piccinini, the creative brain behind this unique display.

A special family photoshoot. 🤎

This beautiful session was a Christmas gift voucher put to use, I truly think a photography voucher is one of the most thoughtful gifts you can give.

So often, family photos are seen as a luxury, but I honestly believe they are a necessity. They are one of the few things that become more valuable with time. Long after the gifts have been used, the flowers have wilted and the cake has been eaten, these photos will still be here, telling your family's story for your children, grandchildren and generations to come.

This session took a little extra effort to make happen. We had to reschedule a few times because of the rain, and coordinating family travelling from Adelaide to the Riverland wasn't the easiest task.

But looking through this gallery, I can confidently say... it was worth every bit of the planning.

A whole family together, celebrating their beautiful family. That’s what it’s all about. 🤎

Five beautiful children. Life with a growing family is full, full of noise, laughter, mess, busy mornings and beautiful moments that pass by far too quickly.

A photoshoot is a beautiful chance to pause, soak it all in, celebrate the chapter of life you’re in and capture the love that fills your home right now.

The personalities, the connection and the moments in between - these are the memories that become treasured over time.

Something a little different to share… But I absolutely LOVE capturing sport! 🙌

These photos are all of my partner at the MX State Titles at the Riverland Junior Motorcycle Club (RJMC)… So yes, they’re a little biased 😂

Just a family of four making the most of a chilly afternoon. 🤎

Snuggles, exploring, bubbles, giggles... and all the beautiful chaos that comes with raising little boys.

Every season of family life is worth capturing because they'll never be this age again.

If you're in the thick of the chaos, it's actually the perfect time for family photos. You don't need everyone to sit still or smile perfectly. Those little personalities, the cuddles, the running, the laughter, the way your children reach for your hand, those are the moments you'll want to remember.

I've been photographing families for over 10 years, and one thing I've learnt is that there's never a "perfect" time. The weather doesn't have to be perfect. Your outfits don't have to be perfect. Your children don't have to behave perfectly.

What matters is that you're together.

Because one day, these ordinary moments will be the ones that mean the most. 🤎
