In all seriousness, Liv & Tom’s session was so much fun. Non-stop laughs, little games even when sitting still, and just bloody good times. That’s truly what it’s all about—having fun, making memories, and getting some pretty fu***ng good photos while you’re at it!! ✨

Doing a quick little photo booth prompt is always such a fun wrap up for bridal party photos on your wedding day! I am honestly obsessed with in-home sessions, and this is the exact reason why.
In 50 years when you look back at your photos, your home will look completely different. You’ll have renovated, painted, or moved on entirely!!!

When I was younger, I remember sitting with my grandma flicking through her old photo albums, talking about the house she built a whole life in and how two of her kids weddings happen on her property with the home her husband built!
There was just so much life held in that place—way more than just four walls.
I literally grew up wanting a backyard wedding instead of some fancy venue because of that, just wanting somewhere that felt like home! The canvases on the walls it was the perfect dream!
That house has been sold now, and those photos have more value than ever! Us running around as kids, sitting in pot plants, stick fights - kids just being kids!!

That’s what I want to give you. Not faking it in spaces that don’t make sense for your life, but the real stuff—the drying bottles on the bench, the toy cars on the rug, and the exact couch you spent hours holding your tiny human on! The hard bits and the best bits you wouldn’t trade for the world! The silly goofy moments and the small little things - hell even those little tantrums because we are only human and that’s so beautiful!
That’s where the actual richness is. 🤍

I Had the absolute best afternoon documenting this sweet crew in their space!! And even in the stressful-ness of this little angel just not having it! You can feel the love & the connection

I was literally shivering behind the camera the entire time for this one. 🥶

Freezing wind, heavy grey clouds, and full-body goosebumps—yet somehow Clare stepped out and made it look effortless!! Total legend!! Even though she was soooo cold!

The weather had absolute trust issues during this shoot, though. We’d set up the perfect moody shot, and boom—the sun would blast through for two seconds, blinding everyone, then vanish just as quickly. But honestly? Rolling with the chaos gave us the best of both worlds: soft overcast tones, gorgeous dappled light, and some full-sun moments that I’m totally obsessed with.
You never have to worry about knowing what to do with your hands or stressing over the forecast—that’s 100% my job to figure out. You just rock up, bring the energy, and I’ll make you laugh until you forget how cold it is.

My calendar stays pretty packed, so I don’t always get to take on many Debs, but Clare’s crew booked well in advance and I’m so glad they did. Such an epic day!

Is there anything better than date night photos?? Honestly this felt like it was straight out of a chick flick and I’m sooo obsessed!!!

Winter mornings can be an absolute freeze fest out here, but gosh I’m obsessed because that fog & light are unmatched!

Liv & Tom were such a bloody hoot hey! We kicked off at The Hub with coffee (literally the best spot in town!! did a little run to 7/11 for fuel + road snacks, and just spent the whole morning out at Sunny Corner laughing our heads off.

Getting to document them around Liv’s car was so cool because it wasn’t about ticking some standard “photoshoot” box. We just hung out, let them be themselves, and made actual memories. That’s what it’s all about!!
I’m so ready for more sessions like this. If you and your person have a favourite date spot or just want an excuse to go on a fun little road trip, message me and let’s do it!

Okay, I’ve been trying to figure out a caption for these for an hour, but honestly f**k it haha 😂😂
This session was so damn fun. Such a good winter arvo—and that light??? Winter lighting is SO underrated!

But in all seriousness, sessions like this are so special. These are actual core memories for you and your kids. Hanging out with their cousins, aunties, and uncles, where nobody is being forced to stand still and fake smile. Just playing games, having fun, and doing something real. Not for the ‘gram—for life. For real memories to print and look back on - only getting better each year!

I honestly can’t stop thinking about how close this family was. I’m obsessed, because you really don’t see connection like that every day. And I love all the little combos we get to do in these sessions! I laughed so hard my belly hurt, and I think they were all the same—singing songs, making jokes, and taking the p**s out of each other too!!

If you want to work with someone who isn’t going to force you into awkward poses that aren’t you, makes you feel confident, and keeps it insanely fun... pop into my DMs. I’m always down for a good yap 🫶🏼

HOLY S**T. 2 years of Maddi Lee’s Photography today!! 🤯🎉✨
I am literally sitting here mind-blown my business is officially TWO YEARS OLD, and today also marks 12 whole months of being completely full-time!! I cannot believe this is my life?!
Looking back at where this all started versus where we are now feels completely surreal. From that very first shoot to now shooting 26+ weddings, countless adventure sessions, maternities, couples, and hundreds of core memories captured… it’s mind-blowing.
In the last year alone, I hosted my very first photography workshop, launched pop-up weddings (and almost sold out round two!), and created a community I genuinely love talking to and being around!
This business isn’t just a job to me—it is so deeply tied to who I am as a person. It is literally who I am, what I love, and my absolute everything!!!
To every single person who has been in my corner—whether you’ve booked a shoot, referred me to your friends, commented on my posts, or just hyped me up online—you have NO idea how much that means to me. It goes such a long way, and I wouldn’t be here without you guys. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me bring you along on this wild journey. ❤️

We’ve come so far in two years, but trust me… we are just getting started. I’ve got some ridiculously exciting things coming up for Chapter 3 and I can’t wait to take you all with me. 🥂🎈
