I've spent most of the day in the veggie garden.
When the kids got home from school, I thought they might come outside and say hello.
Instead, from the garden, I hear:
"I'm hungry."
"I'm thirsty."
"There's nothing to eat."
I DID THE GROCERIES YESTERDAY.
"There's nothing to drink."
THERES WATER
"I don't want water."
HAVE AN APPLE
"I don't want an apple."
"I don't like apples."
Interesting, because somebody in this house is eating approximately 37 apples a week.
Then it was:
"It's my turn on the TV."
"No, I asked first."
"No, I'M watching TV."
No one's watching TV.
I have the remote.
Good luck with that.
A couple of hours later, we're now arguing about loading the dishwasher.
"You're doing it wrong."
"No, YOU'RE doing it wrong."
"I can't load the dishwasher while you're unloading the washing machine."
"The doors crash into each other."
"How come he only has to unload the dryer?"
Because he's little.
That's his job.
That's why.
And THEN they all started arguing over the toilet.
"I need to go."
"No, I need to go."
"No, I was here first."
We have one toilet.
TWO OF YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO P*E OUTSIDE.
GO P*E OUTSIDE.
And now?
"I'm not feeding the cat I DID IT YESTERDAY"
"Well I'm not doing it because he's not MYYYYY cat!"
The cat "meowwwwwwoewoewoewoewwwwww"
Meanwhile, I'm out here in the veggie garden wondering if I can just set my hammock up permanently... except it's started raining.
So if you've made it this far I am slowly going mad and waiting for bedtime so that I can start editing the weekends sessions ♥️
