Once the clouds opened up, this scene presented itself 🔥

There was Heavy Mist and Fog all the way from Lithgow to Kanangra, but deciding to head out anyway paid off 😍

A short, 3km hike that is easy going with a small rock scramble in the middle, which leads you into a series of stunning sandstone slot canyons surrounded in Pagoda's and Lush ferns and large trees 🌲

With the Glow Worm Tunnels near by, this is the perfect day trip 📸

Check out this Collection of shots from my adventure to the Glow worm Tunnel and Wolgan Valley Lookout.

The Glowworms were amazing

It was around a 3km return hike, the road to the carpark is in good condition, only gets a bit rough in the last 5km of the trip

* Note - Torches are to be only pointed at the ground, red light is preffered. The Inner tunnel shots were achieved through Long exposure Photography and using the Natural light from the entry to the tunnel *

Today's adventure at Secret Creek in Lithgow 😃

Secret Creek Sanctuary in Lithgow is a feral-proof, 10-acre conservation facility and wildlife sanctuary focusing on endangered native species.

Established in 2003, it features a self-guided walking track to view animals like quolls, dingoes, koalas, and Tasmanian devils in naturalistic habitats

There is also an onsite Rustic Cafe, and a Wildlife Hospital!

Also home to an endangered Wollemi Pine 🌲
