Well Flaming Rim Productions have come to the hard decision that we are no longer going to photograph burnout competitions effective immediately.
We had intended to retire from shooting the burnout competition after Kandos Street Machine & Hot Rod Show and Bathurst Autofest this year, but have decided to bring it forward to today.
We do intend to continue taking images of car shows, but not burnout competitions as its simply getting too much for one person to take, edit and upload over 2000 images form a single day competition, and close to double that for the multi-day comps, all for nothing - we have never made a single cent doing this, despite spending tens of thousands in camera and video gear, travel, accommodation over the years.
A big thanks to those who have supported us since we started this endeavor, including the 2 cars I have managed to have a ride in - METHRAT and RANCID
