Sisters — we see you, we honour you, and we thank you.
Because sisters come in all forms — not just by blood, but through friendship, motherhood, and the businesses we build side by side.

This wasn’t just a shoot.
It was something deeper.
A celebration of connection, growth, and the kind of love that shows up in everyday moments.

I’m a big believer in celebrating birthdays — especially that very first one.
But more than that, I believe in celebrating family, sisterhood, and the way we grow together — in life, in motherhood, and in business.

Natural pouring into the studio…deep in thoughts….

Nothing but happiness, memories being made, our family created this space together. The four of us poured time to turn this space into a shooting space.

Everything in life is work in progress, just like this space.

I guess being the person that I am, my head changes in 10 directions, my creativity and goals are constantly growing. Which means everything in the space evolves.

This one I did promise to do slow and steady. I’ve always been the turtle 😂

When God closes a door, he opens a window.

In my case, another door.

I did not want to make this announcement just yet, however my heart says it’s time.

I am officially closing my doors at Lidcombe HQ.

Eleven and half years, working from our home, growing our own family, and growing our Apolonia Family has been a crazy wild ride. I’ll go into that later.

We are excited to let you know, a new HQ location will be opening official date to be honest later!

It’s been a strange / exciting / ‘oh crap what have I done ‘ couple of weeks. I can’t even begin to explain 😅

Enjoy the last few school holiday moments with the family.

🌟 Reflecting on the rollercoaster that was 2023, I'm diving into this post with raw gratitude for a whole decade of highs and lows. Winston Churchill nailed it: "Success is Not Final, Failure is Not Fatal: it is the Courage to Continue that Counts." Damn right. 📸

🎉 This year, we're raising our glasses to a solid 10 years of capturing life's messy, beautiful moments. From a humble start to the brand Apolonia Photographie is now, it's all thanks to you - the real MVPs who've been a part of our unfiltered journey. 🥂

🤝 Our success isn't about glossy photoshoots; it's about the messy, genuine friendships, and the years of images we've created together - that's the heartbeat of Apolonia Photographie.

📷 Let's not sugarcoat it; change has been a wild ride. Some ideas soared, some crashed and burned. We're learning, evolving, and occasionally stumbling - but that's real life, isn't it? That's how a business continues to grow - with the passion to constantly learn in order to deliver an even better business model. 💪

🌱 As we grow, know that our commitment remains unfiltered. We're working hard, evolving, and trying to capture photos that truly reflect you and your family. Every hiccup is a lesson, every triumph is because of you.

Year on year - our family sessions grew. The need to find a bigger studio became an incredible new journey for us. Our collaborations with have been nothing short of amazing. Just one of the best experiences we've had so far. The year 2023 concludes with a new venture - our first commercial photography project, stepping out of my comfort zone as a newborn and baby photographer has been the end of year highlight.

📚 Photography isn't just about pretty pictures; it's about capturing the raw, unfiltered moments that define us. So, brace yourself for more real talk and maybe a few overshared behind-the-scenes moments.

This year, the universe ensured that I personally took a break from any holiday mini sessions. It means, for once, I made it into the photograph with my very own family.

🙌 None of this would exist without the support of our loyal customers and my very own support team - my family and extended family who have supported me from day 1.

🌟 Quick heads up: Apolonia Photographie is hitting pause until early February 2024. The team needs a breather to recharge.
