It's all over folks! Last night was the last light-up and the tiresome job of packing it all away has started. Luckily it's nice weather and not too hot!

I've got plans for next year already (no surprises there lol) and have started buying and prepping for new stuff and improvements for 2026.

I would like to thank everyone that came past to see the lights. I think Christmas Eve was a record this year, judging by the amount of cars through the night, I think we had over 200 people come past. Just wow 😳!

I would also like to thank all the other crazies that brighten the skies in the area with lights, it's fantastic to see 🌟

Happy New Year, and I'll see you in 2026!

**Appreciation Post**

Hi all 👋👋👋

I just wanted to shout-out to the kind-hearted person who left me a card and a little something this year.

I do what I do because I love it, and I love to spread joy. I don't expect to get anything in return (except happy kids, smiling faces and squeals of joy) so it's humbling to receive such an incredible kindness from a stranger - to go out of their way to write a card, and leave a gift (wow)!

Whoever you are, you are what's good in the world. You are amazing. THANK YOU ❤️

Merry Christmas y'all! It's a beautiful day in Adelaide, sun shining, birds singing, couldn't ask for a nicer day for Christmas!

I want to thank everyone that has come to enjoy my display, I hope you've enjoyed it. The lights will remain on till 31 Dec.

I hope everyone has a joyous day today, hopefully with friends and/or family. If not, (if like me) your family is overseas, interstate or just can't be close this year, I hope you make the most of the day with the people you are with. For me, it's my hubby and 2 teen boys. They're in their rooms (gaming) as usual but they're physically here and that's all that counts.

Lucky dips and bubble wands are all gone folks, sorry!

We've had a fantastic turnout already tonight and they went super fast so I'm sorry for anyone who misses out.

Snow machine is still on but the wind is not my friend tonight! Mr Frosty is covered in snow but none of it is reaching the road to fall on little people 🫤

Is everyone excited for tmrw? I am, for sure! But tonight is exciting too because it's the last big night for viewing ...

Snow machine will be on from 8.30pm till about 9.45pm - or until I run out of snow (as long as the wind doesn't pick up again).

Lucky dips will be out from 8.30pm until they run out. Please be considerate of others, these are small gifts for 2yo to 8yo ages, one per child (thank you).

Bubble Wands will be in the manger from 8.30pm until they run out.

Lights are on now - not that you can see them in the daylight but they'll be on till about midnight.

Tonight's lucky dips are all gone, and the snow machine is retired for the evening.

Bubble Wands, Christmas music and lights will remain on till 11.30pm.

The lights are on every night but I wanted to give everyone a heads up if you're heading out in the next week.

Snow Machine:
The snow will be ON Friday night.
The snow will be OFF on Saturday night.
The snow will be ON for Christmas Eve.

Bubble Wands:
The bubble Wands will be in the manger Friday and Saturday and again on Christmas Eve.

Lucky Dips:
Lucky dips will be out Friday and Saturday and again on Christmas Eve (limit of approx 30 each night, 1 per child only please).

Lights will be on every night from 8.30pm to 11.30pm until 31 December 2025.

Snow machine testing tonight .... It's working (at least it was last weekend) and ready to go so if you pop past tonight, there may be snowflakes floating around ❄️

It's a little windy again today but it should drop off by sundown so I'm keeping the fingers crossed 🤞

How fast has this year gone!!??!

In less than 2 weeks our kiddies will be wriggling in their beds, excitement at peak level, waiting for the big man to arrive.

Even being away from family, with teenage boys who no longer believe in the magic of Christmas, it's still my favourite day of the year. The warmth, love and joy the season brings reminds us how kind people can be.

And remember, you're never too old to look to the sky on Christmas Eve 🎅
