My favourite moments on this day:

✨Bride’s brother surprised her as we thought he wouldn’t be able to make it.
✨After non stop rain the venue was changed but that didn’t stop the love and rainbows from enduring.
✨The newly weds first dance took a hit, the music stopped working due to technical difficulties so their first dance was saved by the bride’s brother who volunteered to save the day by singing. Something that will never be forgotten.
✨Lastly, to finish an eventful wonderful day. A dance with the grandparents which have been there to see the newly weds grow into the people they are today.

Queen Elizabeth II has died, aged 96.

Fifteen British Prime Ministers served under her during her 70 year reign and she visited Australia 16 times.

The Australian Wattle Portrait of the newly crowned Queen Elizabeth II was completed by Australian artist Sir William Dargie in 1954. The Queen’s 1954 tour was the first time a reigning monarch had set foot on Australian soil. About 75 per cent of Australia’s population caught a glimpse of the new young queen.

The wattle painting is one of the most recognisable 20th century Australian portraits.

Australia was one of her first and final destinations as part of her extensive royal tours.

She would return to Australia 15 more times. Her final visit was in October 2011 for a Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

Her eldest son, Charles, is now King.

This beautiful couple asked me to do their photos the day before their wedding, as their first photographer was sick. I was a bit nervous but I’m glad I said YES.
Also, we were unaware of the “MINE RD” sign in the background. What a perfect moment for these two! 👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️💕
