These are the must-have ingredients I always keep on hand in Grammy’s Kitchen 🌿

With a well-stocked pantry, fridge and freezer, it’s so much easier to put together a comforting homemade meal without needing a special trip to the shops.

My freezer is also stocked with basic vegetables such as spinach, beans, peas, corn, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower as not everything is in season all year round.

Most of my herbs come straight from the garden, including parsley, rosemary, sage, thyme and basil. There’s something special about stepping outside, picking a handful of fresh herbs and adding them to a homemade meal.

From creamy sauces, casseroles, pasta dishes, soups, pies and sausage rolls ... these trusty staples help make everyday cooking simple and delicious.
