iPhone pic taken with phone upside down because it was raining ☔️ no way was I pulling my grown up camera out.

Other is taken on my grown up camera, and full disclosure heavily edited imo (vs how I normally edit, I always go for warm moody tones I feel not cooler) and is a screenshot of the OG image to prevent people from downloading and blowing up images (yes that has happened to me) watermarking won’t help, however have fun blowing up a screenshot 🤣💁🏽‍♀️.
Just ask me if you want an image sheesh, I’m not going to say no!

Also, I support people using phones for photographs, and if you just want to post them to social media that’s cool, even printing is fine- where I struggle is how do these images look blown up? Happy to have purely phone photographers weigh in on this and educate me?

I’m using screenshots of images on my pages now.

It won’t kill you to ask for permission to take an image of mine to print.
I’m not asking for money, just common decency. (Yes this has happened to me)

You wouldn’t walk into someone’s shop, steal something of theirs which is what you do without asking, so why is it acceptable because it’s a landscape image?

So good luck blowing up a screenshot guys 🙈.

This is PROOF, it’s not the gear- it’s the user and what they see.

My son shot his image on a crop sensor camera (a very BASIC canon)

I shot mine on a Nikon z5 with a NISI CPL.

I can’t tell the difference between which camera shot what.

You don’t need all the gear to be a photographer, just a good eye.

I’ve taken shots on my Nikon D3400 (again a very basic camera) that have been able to hold their own on social media (one Aurora image springs to mind).

You don’t need the “best” you just need a camera. Hop to it.
