Who else likes getting up early to catch the last sunrise of the year? Some of you, no doubt. I feel confident saying that there’ll be more of you tomorrow though hey. I might try it too, we’ll see.
This was taken not far from home this morning. I couldn’t decide where to go at 5am and before I knew it, time had slipped away. Enjoy the last day of the year everyone!🕺

I didn’t go to sleep until 5am this morning. I’d been up culling images after shooting last nights Mardi Gras parade. It probably goes without saying that I was late heading out for this mornings sunrise. I had intended on heading to Bronte but had to settle for the 3 minute drive down to Hunters Hill. A good call in the end as I was able to catch some of this mornings amazing colour. Happy Sunday everyone!

Well, Vivid managed to coax me away from the lounge the last couple of nights. Here’s a few snaps taken 15 minutes before lights out, last night and tonight. Didn’t quite have the energy to get down on deck with hoards so these were all taken from afar.

🌅Great to be up and see our icons bathed in peachy golden hues again this morning. Most of Australia’s east coast has been battered by rain and subsequent floods the last few weeks so it was a nice change. �Always gives me a chuckle to see people paddling around in kayaks in front of the Opera House and under the Harbour Bridge too. That’s not a bad playground, hey?! Nice way to escape some of the craziness that’s happening here and around the world at the moment. Have a great weekend everyone! 🙌🏼
