I am able to supply both images on disc and/or professionally printed images as part of a customised package for you. All images are professionally edited and retouched once you have selected your fin

What a lovely break away to vibrant Sydney for a few days, and now back in the swing of things.
But of course, I couldn't ever take a break from photography and when a photo opportunity like this presents itself, the camera you have with you is the best one - in this case, my Samsung mobile phone camera!

So, the efforts of balancing on the bow of a moving ferry in the rain paid off 10-fold, producing one of my favourite images to date.

It's been a while since I've last posted - I've been super busy in real life!
I've finally managed to take a break and the stars literally aligned for me last night (Tue 20 Jan 2026). For those that follow me, you know I love a good night sky photo and if it includes an Aurora Australis - what a bonus!

Hello all and Happy New Year! After a wonderful holiday break, I'm up and ready to go and get cracking into 2025.

Here's an image I took whilst away on holiday in the gorgeous seaside town of Port Welshpool, Victoria, with the the famous Long Jetty in the foreground - the Comet C/2024 G3 ATLAS on it's last voyage past Earth, taken this January 2025.

Unlike this comet, I will heading onwards and upwards this year! 🚀

This was one that almost didn't make the cut but as I edited, it once again became what I saw that day I quickly snapped this as these gorgeous girls ran into their church to make their First Holy Communion.

Aurora Australis - Melbourne, Vic - Saturday 11 May 2024

I have been chasing and photographing the Aurora Australis for around 10 years now and in that time, I've had some great (and some not so great) photos of the event. That's the thrill of the chase, I suppose!

But this one here taken last Saturday night is the best I have ever seen from this location in Melbourne - it was visible to the naked eye when it was super intense and is an absolute highlight of my night-sky photography so far.

What can I say other than - Wow! I have been working James since the start of Echo Blue over 10 years ago and we always have the most amazing time in the studio.

With a successful career as an comedian, actor, MC and radio announcer, James is an absolute pleasure to work with and, if we can hold in the laughter, we actually come up with some fantastic images!
