A warm, still evening at Jan Juc. It was so nice to get toes in the water - only knee deep, because let’s not get carried away it’s still only spring. I sometimes think I’d love to live closer to the beach, but the reality is I don’t think I’d ever get anything done. How could you with views like this to get lost in?

Spent a while waiting for three pelicans to get with the program & line up just right for my imagined image. Turns out pelicans are a bit random, especially this guy who insisted on paddling the opposite way to the other two, no matter which way they went. So here’s “Solitary Pelican” or “Piss Off You Lot”. I think the second one tells more of a story 😆 Which do you think?

I was trying to photograph pelicans. Three of them paddling serenely around the lake, half heartedly looking for something to eat or maybe the best place for a snooze. But they’d never get themselves into the right formation in the right spot. Reeds, on the other hand, do not move that much. And so it was only a matter of getting myself in the right spot for some mind bending reflections.

Spring weather has arrived all of a sudden. How amazing was today 🙌 Perfect days for wandering aimlessly at the beach … A bit disappointing to be stuck in the office 🤷🏼‍♀️

Loved that this little rock has left a comet tail in the sand like it’s been zooming across the beach but suddenly decided there was nowhere better to be than right where it is. That is not a metaphor for being stuck in the office btw 😆
