This post is probably one of the most vulnerable things I've ever shared.
If you've followed me for a while, you'll know that what you see is what you get. I'm not interested in pretending life is perfect.
Behind the camera, I've walked through pregnancy loss, grief, postpartum depression, and some incredibly dark seasons. As a newborn photographer, I dreamed for years of photographing my own baby's milestones, but postpartum depression often left me simply trying to survive.
Today I've shared my story in the hope that another mum might realise she isn't alone.
Because Ali Jones Photography has never just been about photographs. It's about people, relationships, community, and supporting women and families through every season of life.
If you're struggling, or know someone who is, I'd love for you to have a read. ❤️

As a newborn photographer and mum, I dreamed of capturing every milestone with my rainbow baby. Instead, I found myself battling severe postpartum depression and grief. This is my story of loss, healing, motherhood, and finding hope again through faith.
