December garden life. Blue bees are very active and very fast. Dozens of Christmas spiders on the fence lines and the wrens are super busy. Competition, hence the attitude, for the Splendid-Fairy wrens turned up last week with the Red-winged Fairy wren and family appearance. To top it off a lovely Christmas beetle. All fabulous to watch.

Nice surprise when you forget that you entered a photography competition, Photographer of the Year 2025, way back, and the results arrived yesterday. Very pleased to be in the top 10 for Creative which will be published in the Australian Photography magazine. 3000 entries over 9 categories. A great way to have a bit of a challenge and to learn by seeing the photographer entries in each category. Thank you to Ted's Camera's for the presentation of the competition.
