A moment for the groom please 😮‍💨

Groom prep is often overlooked and not prioritised however I think it’s a really special and important part of the day.
It’s about capturing the anticipation, nervousness & excitement with his closest friends and family.
It’s also the quiet moments of him getting ready, thinking about what is about to unfold whilst he’s putting on his cuff links or shoes.
Don’t rush this part of the day & allocate a little more time than you think for the photographer to capture these moments.

Trust is everything in wedding photography.

When you trust the person behind the lens, you stop thinking about the camera. You stay present, you are allowed to express yourself fully.

I’m always trying to find the quiet moments between the big ones, and the raw emotion inside the elegant ones.

My job isn’t just to document your wedding. It’s to earn your trust before we even get there, so that you feel comfortable & what I give you back is the perfect balance of how it looked and how it actually felt.

Two people who couldn’t be more different, and somehow, completely perfect together.

What struck me most about this day was watching two very different families become one room. You could feel it during the ceremony, during the speeches, on the dancefloor. Niamh and Tate didn’t just get married, they brought their people together, and everyone felt it.

In a day and age where ‘content is king’ & the wedding industry is more competitive than ever, this is your reminder that the wedding day is not about you, but about them.
If they want to join their guests for cocktail hour, don’t prolong the portrait session for more content.
If they are having the time of their lives on the dance floor, don’t take them off it.
