On Wednesday, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing this beautiful elopement. Barefoot, grounded and surrounded by nature, I got to witness two beautiful people say I do!

After their heartfelt ceremony, we headed off chasing waterfalls and captured some absolutely beautiful images along the way.

Yesterday evening, Dean and Patty shared their exciting news with their family and friends, and I feel so lucky to have been the one to capture the beginning of this next chapter in their love story.

After two weeks of rain, what a beautiful day for these two!

The sun came out just in time for Paige and Hamish to say I do, and it was such a pleasure to witness and capture such a special day.

I’ve known Paige for over 11 years and have had the privilege of watching her grow up into the beautiful woman she is today. Being there to capture this next chapter of her life was extra special, and one of those moments that reminds me just how lucky I am to do what I do.

Congratulations, Paige & Hamish! Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness together.

Who would have thought that two little 5-year-olds who met in Prep would find their way back to each other over 40 years later?

Life took them in different directions, even to different high schools, but somehow, their paths crossed again, and they realised they were always meant to be!

Now, they’ve officially tied the knot, and what a beautiful love story to be a part of!

We couldn’t predict the weather, but we were so lucky to get a break in the rain to capture these two lovebirds!

Here’s to a love story that proves sometimes, the best things in life are worth waiting for.

RECENTLY ENGAGED AND NOT SURE WHERE TO START?

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! 🥂Now, where do you even begin?!

1. Find your dream venue!
Do you have a special date in mind, or a venue you’ve always dreamed of? Start by visiting venues you both love! If you have a specific date, check availability first.

2. Book your suppliers!
Once your venue is booked, start looking at your photographer, celebrant, florist and other suppliers. Many venues have preferred suppliers who already know the space and can help your day run smoothly.

3. Consider an event planner!
Having someone coordinate your day means you can relax and enjoy every moment instead of worrying about the timeline and little details.

4. Choose a main contact!
Have a bridesmaid or trusted person be the main contact for suppliers on the day. The bride shouldn’t be answering phone calls or organising everyone when she’s meant to be enjoying her wedding!

My biggest tip? Don’t try to do everything at once! Enjoy the planning process and remember what it’s all about celebrating your love!

One thing I absolutely LOVE about detail shots is that no two weddings are ever the same!

Every couple has their own little details, personal touches and special pieces that tell their story, and this is where I get to have a little creative fun!

From the rings and florals to the invitations, perfume and all those little finishing touches, I love finding different ways to style everything and turn the smallest details into something beautiful.
