Drone pilots be aware!

Attention all pilots flying in the vicinity of Wollongong and Shellharbour this weekend!

A temporary restricted area (TRA) will be in place within a 5 NM of Shellharbour Airport for the Wings Over Shellharbour air show.

The restrictions will be in place on:

> Friday 15 May between 12:30 - 4:30 PM AEST
> Saturday 16 May between 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM AEST
> Sunday 17 May between 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM AEST

There will be low level flying displays throughout the event, including a display from the Air Force Roulettes.

All pilots operating in the area should monitor NOTAMs for the latest updates and operational information.

If you fly a drone, the air show is not the place to use it – leave it at home. Always check a CASA‑verified drone safety app to know where it’s safe to fly: https://bit.ly/Drone-Safety-apps

Airspace restrictions can change at any time. It is your responsibility to make sure that you do not fly in areas where restrictions are in place.

Lovely to see so many showing their gratitude and taking the time to commemorate the ANZAC legacy.

Have you been to the Penong Windmill Museum ?

The 35 foot Comet is something to be seen in person.

Only three exist in Australia out of the 15 that were ever produced.

Kiama Show is fast approaching!

24 and 25 January at Kiama Showground and The Pavilion Kiama.

Make sure you plan a visit to see local exhibitors and livestock, enjoy the carnival rides and watch the fireworks.

Kiama NSW Australia may be a very well visited coastal town, however it was farming that created this town and primary producers still hold a very strong influence in its sustainability and progress.
