Most people try keep their photos as dirt free as possible. I love how these guys embraced it. Such a joy being invited to capture a slow camping afternoon with this little fam.

Straight after this session I felt I had let Laura down with getting some lovely photos with her kids. The kids were kids with all the feels and in the small studio space that can feel intense. It didn’t help it was a hot hot day and there were some aircon troubles . ( I’m not really selling it am I 😆). But, after viewing the photos I fell in love with their honesty and tenderness. These are a reminder that the happy posed moments are lovely to capture but the beauty lies in the real stuff. Let the kids be kids and let’s capture all the gold in that. Oh and incase your wondering .. the air con is fixed 👌🏻
