Beneath this spot
WESTERN MINING CORPORATION LIMITED drilled the first hole-in search of Nickel in January 1966. The success of this exploration resulted in the establishment of the Kambalda Nickel Mine which was officially opened by the Hon. David `Brand M. L. A.
