Sunday at Snapper Rocks, Coolangatta! ♥ I know I missed All Ford Day, but this surf was worth the trip to the beach instead! :-) You can see some of the shots that show the sheer size of the waves. Apparently, there was a wave over 10 metres near Brisbane (only a short drive away) We've seen surf from cyclones cruising past the coastline, but this was different. The east coast low was near Fraser Island, and the wind was cyclonic for a few days. Normally, I was able to stand on a brick wall to take photos, but this time, the wall was underwater quite a bit! It was amazing to watch! I'm so glad I got my bucket list photo. (Cover photo) :-) ♥
