Anyone else try to vote for Queens Ball Awards and then get prompted do it a second time cos its been altered by the creator?? What is that about?
Please remember when voting that this is not a popularity contest. Awards should be given to the most hard working and present people/groups/events in the community. My vote will be going to those deserving of recognition for their hard work, perseverance & efforts. Not those who publicly ask for my vote. No disrespect intended, I am honoured to be nominated again but also quietly question it at the same time. This is the 4th year in a row that I've been nominated for Queens Ball Awards after winning Ally of the year in 2022. I don't do what I do for awards. I do it because its the right thing to do. The inclusivity, visabilty, respect & safety for all members of this community is top priority to me. If you dont know some of the recipients. Do your research when putting in your vote. Please consider every category.
Because every vote counts.
