If I could have told you one thing that makes being a photographer worth it before starting, I wouldn't have guessed it..

having loyal families who genuinely love your work, love you and your art. Families who come back year after year because they would rather come to you then book with any of the 20 other photographers in your area. it makes my HEART SING!! it is seriously what keep your photography business alive.

6 years of loving a daughter i never knew i would have, i always imagined being a boy mum but never in my wildest dreams thought I would end up with a girl. I was worried I wouldnt know how to parent a girl, I guess im still pretty worried about that🫣😂 Jaycee is a quiet but loud, gentle, fierce, kind hearted, caring & creative girl, I couldn't imagine life without her. I adore how this bring to light the difference in each session, every session with me is unique to the family i capture. These photos are your story, time spent away from the distractions like phones, chores & everyday stress and instead focusing on the beauty in being present and together, connecting with eachother.

What I'm trying to say is- Book that photoshoot, don't let the stress of your child misbehaving or not cooperating stop ...

unpopular opinion: you don't need more photos.. images that speak to you and make you FEEL are worth more then a huge gallery of posed photos from your photoshoot. hiring a photographer who will take the time to connect with you and your family and spend time interacting with you during the session will produce images you can feel emotion through and they will look and feel authentic.
