You can tell when someone has never had to question if their love is accepted

There’s a freedom in it
A kind of ease I didn’t fully understand before

But lately
I’ve been noticing the difference more than ever

How safety shapes connection
How it changes the way people hold each other
Or don’t

Because when you’ve had to question your love
You don’t just give it freely at first
You protect it

And I see that in front of my camera all the time

Until something softens
Until they realise they don’t have to filter themselves here

And that’s when everything becomes honest

Not all love feels safe. And that matters.

I’ve seen what love looks like when it’s built on survival.
Where you’re reading the room instead of relaxing into it.
Where your body is braced, not softened.
Where you’re loved… but not held.

So when I witness something different, I feel it.

Love that doesn’t rush.
Love that doesn’t control.
Love that doesn’t make you question yourself.

Just two people, fully choosing each other
without fear sitting in the background.

There’s a softness to it.
A steadiness.
A kind of exhale.

And for a lot of couples, especially q***r couples,
that kind of love hasn’t always felt safe to show.
To hold hands in public.
To be fully seen.
To exist without explanation.

So documenting it matters.

Not just because it’s beautiful
but because it’s free.

This is what love looks like
when it’s safe to be exactly who you are.

You don’t book a self love session because you feel confident.
You book it because somewhere along the way you forgot you were allowed to take up space.

Life makes us useful.
Mum. Partner. Worker. The one who holds it all together.
And slowly… we disappear inside the roles.

These sessions at Elm House aren’t about soft smiles and pretending everything is perfect.
They’re about meeting the version of you that still exists underneath the noise.

The one that’s tired but powerful.
Soft but dangerous.
Healing but still becoming.

I’ve watched women walk in unsure, apologising for themselves…
and walk out standing differently. Like they remembered who the hell they are.

This isn’t about looking sexy for someone else.
It’s about witnessing yourself without shrinking.

If something in your chest tightened reading this, that’s your sign.

Come take your space back.

If you’re pregnant and thinking about maternity photos, here’s what you need to know.

The best time to book your session is around 32 weeks.
Your bump is beautifully round, you’re still comfortable moving, and we’re not risking baby arriving early.

I see it all the time, waiting last minute and then I can’t get you in in time before Bub arrives.

Maternity sessions have a small window and it comes around fast. If you’re planning a sunrise shoot at the farm with the horses, booking ahead is important.

If you’re pregnant now, don’t wait until the last minute. Reach out early and we’ll plan it properly. 🤎

I remember when this was just an idea.

One of my very first clients.
A branding shoot with big energy and bigger dreams. We scootered through the city, climbed rooftops, hit the gardens, stopped for smoothies and talked about the life she was building before anyone else could see it.

She wasn’t guessing.
She was deciding.

She told me what she was going to create.
She envisioned it. Backed it. Moved like it already existed.

And now?
She’s DAYS away from opening her Pilates studio.

This is what it looks like when manifestation meets action. When someone quietly puts their head down and builds something undeniable.

Kind. Humble. Absolute powerhouse.

Watching her step into this version of herself feels like watching a promise she made to herself finally land.

And honestly… she looks exactly like someone who’s about to open her own empire.

I don’t take lightly the fact that people invite me into their lives.

Into their weddings.
Their families.
Their becoming.

Those moments are vulnerable. And I know that, because my life outside the camera has shown me the full spectrum of what people carry.

I work in Domestic & Family Violence. I sit with real stories every day. I see strength that doesn’t always look loud. I see survival. I see softness living alongside pain.

It’s made me a safer observer. A quieter presence when needed. A steady one when things feel big.

I’m also a mum, which means I know how fast everything changes. How we’re always saying “one day we’ll book photos” and suddenly that season has passed.

And I’m q***r. Which means I know what it feels like to step into your truth, to reshape your life, and to want spaces where you don’t have to explain yourself to feel accepted.

All of that comes with me when I pick up a camera.

I don’t care about perfect.
I care about honest.

I care that you feel relaxed enough to be yourself.
I care that your kids can run wild.
I care that your love looks like your love, not a Pinterest version of it.

If you work with me, you’re stepping into a space that is safe, inclusive, and real. You don’t need to perform here. You just need to show up as you are.

That’s what I stand for.
That’s what I’ll always protect inside my work.

If that feels like your kind of energy, I’d love to tell your story.

You don’t need more vendors.
You need less chaos.

Planning a wedding is already a lot. The last thing you need is a photographer and videographer who’ve never worked together, competing for space, giving you different directions, missing moments because they’re not in sync.

That’s exactly why we exist.

We’re the wedding duo.
One team. One vision. Zero awkward energy.

Two photographers who move like we’ve done this a hundred times together… because we have. We know when to step forward and when to hang back. We know how to shoot around each other. We know how to read a room without turning your day into a production set.

You don’t get:
• someone blocking your aisle shot
• two creatives arguing about light
• your timeline blowing out because no one communicated

You get:
• seamless coverage
• stills and motion captured intentionally
• space to actually be present

We capture photography and video content as one storytelling experience.

High end, emotion driven imagery.
Cinematic video content woven in naturally.
And our digital Super 8? That’s the nostalgic layer you didn’t know you needed.

It feels like your parents’ wedding film.
Like something you found in a box at Nan’s house.
Grainy. Romantic. Alive.

It’s not just “content.”
It’s memory with texture.

Because here’s what couples actually want, even if they don’t say it:

They want to trust their team.
They want to feel safe being emotional.
They want to know nothing is being missed.
They want their day documented without it feeling staged.

We’re intuitive. We’re calm. We read energy fast.
We work as one brain in two bodies.

So instead of managing vendors on your wedding day…
You get to hold hands, breathe it in, and live it.

If you’re planning a wedding and want one aligned team capturing it all, stills, motion, nostalgia, this is your sign.

Enquire about the wedding duo. Let’s make it effortless.

You don’t want this.

If you want clean.
Perfect.
Polished.
Predictable.

Super 8 is none of that.

It’s messy in the best way.
It’s movement.
It’s skin and breath and wind and that split second where you forget I’m even there.

It feels like something you stole from the 90s.
Like your future kids finding an old tape and seeing you young and feral and stupidly in love.

Digital shows what happened.

Super 8 shows what it felt like to be inside it.

The way your hand grips tighter.
The way she throws her head back laughing.
The way you both soften when no one’s watching.

It’s not cinematic.
It’s intimate.

And when we shoot as the wedding duo, this is where we really come alive.
One of us holding the frame.
One of us chasing the feeling.
Stills and motion working together instead of competing.

It’s not an add on.

It’s the layer that makes your wedding feel like a memory instead of a highlight reel.

If you’re the kind of couple who wants your day to feel nostalgic before it’s even over…

Add the Super 8.

Message me “film” and let’s make it dangerously sentimental.

Most maternity photos are soft.
Glowy.
Perfect.

This isn’t that.

This is about the woman who is still showing up.
Still mothering.
Still working.
Still holding everyone else together…
while growing a whole human.

Pregnancy isn’t just bump shots.
It’s strength you don’t post about.
It’s identity shifting in real time.
It’s your body doing something primal and powerful while the world expects you to carry on like normal.

One day this baby will ask what you were like before they arrived.

You’ll say you were tired.
You were nervous.
You were excited.
You were becoming.

And you’ll have proof.

Not of how you looked.
But of who you were in that in-between season of becoming someone new.

If you’re pregnant and part of you feels like this deserves to be remembered properly… this is your sign.

Send me a message and let’s book your maternity session.
