It’s taken me about a year to log into my online store, scroll down and click “close,” and then “delete.” And that is what I’ve just done tonight. It’s actually a relief to be set free from the monthly payments, the inside noise of “I should be advertising, I need to post more, plan a campaign, attend markets.” It’s all been a bit too much to juggle alongside full time work. So this is a step for me. For me to find the joy in picking up the camera again, going to the beach with zero intention other than a swim, and to keep showing up for my community in a more productive and new chapter. This new chapter will continue to be the monthly Jervis Bay Arts Trail (which I am so grateful to be part of), clients can continue to connect with me via email, and to odd online sale via message.

I’m still here 😁 Just taking time to recharge and rediscover my photography xx

ANZAC Day 2026 at HMAS Creswell and the March in Huskisson with Huey & Romeo fly overs.
In the silence of Dawn a young sailor read Major John McCrae’s “In Flanders Fields.” Those words so deep and true after walking along The Western Front last November, visiting his surgical bunkers one snowy morning. The cold, the smell, the mud of the fields. And row and row and row of the tens of thousands who gave their lives for our freedoms today. Major John McCrae famously discarded his poem, discovered later in a trash can. “In Flanders Fields the poppies blow, between the crosses, row on row….” Perhaps literature can give some meaning and peace to war, perhaps not, perhaps the penmanship assists the reader to process and be grateful. Dawn Service is special for us at HMAS Creswell, with our current serving ADF & their children, their innocence and involvement at such a young age carrying on the Australian spirit of mateship, courage and bravery most of us will (thankfully) never have to dig deep to endure.
I had the honour yesterday of chatting with a modern day war hero, who served for near 30 years. Those stories I will hold dear in the months to come, we have so much to be grateful for and so much to do better in. I hope in the company of any veteran at any time of year, we pause, hear their stories, say thank you, and learn to be better in word and action.

Lest we forget.
