Commemorating upcoming Remembrance Day



Remembrance Day 2020... as we remember those who died or suffered for Australia's cause in all wars and armed conflicts.

Members of NT Walers and their beautiful horses were joined by canine companions Roxy and Quinton, and a beautiful poppy adorned horse, at the Darwin Military Museum to remember with respect those who gave their all so that we have our today.

We shall remember them always

Oh my heart 🥰 when you read to a friend it is so much better 😊 this image is from a Palmerston library initiative giving kids reading time with Quinton & Roxy from gooddogaai Good Dog Animal Assisted Intervention therapy dogs of Darwin. So privileged to be a part of making memories of these kids 👌🏻

Some days when things get a bit hectic, and I wonder about so much that goes on...up pops a little photo that reminds me of the beautiful tender moments we have with dogs 🐾💞 this photo was taken at the Tales to Tails reading program... a literacy program for young readers to build their confidence in reading and to foster a love of literacy in a safe and non-judgmental environment. And my job was to go unnoticed and capture the moments ... seriously does not get much better than this connection between two little souls 🥰

Good Dog is delighted and excited to restart Term 3's Tales to Tails reading program with readers from Driver Primary School.

The Tales to Tails is a 6-week literacy program for young readers to build their confidence in reading and to foster a love of literacy in a safe and non-judgemental environment.

We are so grateful to City of Palmerston Library for partnering with us in helping to deliver such an innovative and welcoming program.

Thank you also to Caroline from Puppy Love Pet Photography for taking such beautiful photos of pups and their readers. Exquisite.
