Today I’m sharing something incredibly hard.
After much thought (and many tears), I have made the heartbreaking but necessary decision to close Natalie Long Photography.
Over recent months, my business has faced challenges I never imagined. Due to the actions of a dishonest individual, my cameras, lenses and essential photography equipment were stolen. Shortly after, wet weather caused extensive damage, resulting in the loss of my remaining studio equipment.
Between the emotional toll and the financial impact, I’ve had to accept that rebuilding right now simply isn’t possible.
Photography has never just been a job for me — it has been a passion, a creative outlet, and a way to capture the moments that matter most in people’s lives. From newborn cuddles to family laughter, milestone celebrations to quiet, meaningful portraits — every session meant something to me.
To my beautiful clients, supporters, friends and family — thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your memories. Thank you for your encouragement, your bookings, your referrals, your kind words and your belief in me. It has meant more than you know.
While this chapter is closing, I am choosing to believe that this is not the end of my creativity — just a pause, a reset, and perhaps the beginning of something new in time.
For now, I am focusing on healing, rebuilding and looking forward.
With gratitude and love,
Nat 🤍
