pakana story company pakana story company was created for Tasmanian Aboriginal artists. It's a home for mob to tell their stories through theatre dance and film. (pSC) will fix this.

It's imperative that Tasmanian Aboriginal people are the ones in the driving seat when it comes to telling our stories. Not only is it essential for truth and authenticity but it plays a big role in self determination. We identified there are no pathways for emerging or established Aboriginal artists in Tasmania to work with fellow Aboriginal performing arts or film practitioners. We are hoping pa

kana Story Co. There is also a huge void of Aboriginal performing artists in this state, and we are hoping to fill this void ove the next 10 years. We plan to fill this hole by training up mob, who have a passion for the performing arts & film and the roles that sync with these. How great would it be if in tens years, we didn't want for anything, from producers, directors, writers, camera people, actors to behind the scenes crew.

As a new Tasmanian Aboriginal arts organisation, we think it's really important to acknowledge and pay respect to artists, from our community who have been trailblazers for our mob in the performing arts.
