I think one of the easiest things to forget is that the life we’re living right now is temporary.
The little faces will change. The tiny hands will grow. The routines we sometimes wish we could escape will eventually become the things we miss.
And I think that’s why photographs matter so much to me.
Not because every moment needs to be picture-perfect, but because the ordinary moments are often the ones we wish we could have back.
The cuddles. The chaos. The belly laughs. The sleepy mornings. The way your children look at you when they don’t know you’re watching.
You might think you’ll remember it all.
But one day, a photograph might be the thing that reminds you exactly how it felt to be here, in this season of your life 🤍
So take the photo. Get in the frame. Let someone photograph the things you think are too ordinary to matter.
Because one day, they won’t feel ordinary at all.
