Rhonda is an orphaned wombat almost twelve months old. Her mum was hit by a car. She is in care at the moment at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, where she will remain until she is old enough (about three years of age) to be returned to the wild. Rhonda is holding her foot with her 'hand'.

Thunderstorms have always fascinated me. For so long I have been wanting to capture lightning....and tonight it happened! I can honestly say that I have never heard thunder so loud and consistent for so long!

A trip to the beach for a walk is cut short when you realise that a storm is fast approaching. Just after reaching the car we were confronted with heavy rain and hail. We left home with the temperature reading 19ºC, returning with it merely 10ºC in a time frame of about 45 minutes!

Week 37 - Home
I have to admit that I feel quite at home at the beach, no matter the weather. Today however, was a gorgeous, warmish, Spring day for a beach walk. I found quite a few previous homes for some sea creatures too.
