It's been a while since I've posted, this season has been the most crazy I've ever felt - lots of things coming at once and the first year of the flower field has added so much time to my daily work. Next year will be more balanced as I'm figuring things out so I'm looking forward to a more peaceful season (if that's even possible haha 😅)

I think yesterday was the most rainy wedding I've ever had to shoot. Did this ruin the mood? no. Did this stop the couple from getting married? no. Did we absolutely make the most of the day complete with laughter, wet cameras and schedule changes? OW YES BABY!!

These moments make me grateful for all my years of experience, you have to be able to adapt at a super speed to make things happen and move on from situations. Lighten the mood and keep everything running. Are these the written down responsibilities of a photographer? no. But I've learnt over the years that couples need a lot of support in many different ways (every wedding has needed this for some sort of reason) and I've also learnt that helping them makes their day a 100x better. I'm not sure where I was actually going with this but I'm just really loving my job and give my everything to make it as special as possible 🥰

The second elopement shoot in the field was another amazing one! Oh my gosh, I’m in love with all these colourful shots. I’m discovering which aisles I like to shoot in and where to capture my classic silhouette shots. It’s so fun discovering the field and seeing my vision come to life, actually working in it! This elopement I’ve also changed the arch decor to eucalyptus leaves and dried flowers as I want future couples to have the option of different looks and colours. Bridal bouquet, grooms boutonniere, arch flowers and foliage, decor with candles and vases - so many fun options!
