An afternoon with the Jenkins'. The wind kicked up, but we still were able to have a blast and get some really great shots. Excellent cup of tea too.

I was lucky enough to spend the afternoon photographing the splendid family of Kristy, Jarard, Claudia and Blake.

Their garden, full of colour, winding paths and grand trees, provided a lovely backdrop, and the talent themselves really excelled.

Plus, I picked up some tips for keeping the pests away from the cherry trees!

Out the back near the straw flowers, there is a little spot where the water collects from a discarded hose.

Little insects hover about, always quick to dart away if they sense danger.
