Let’s normalize kids being kids in family photos. You don’t need forced smiles to capture the magic of your family. Your children don’t need to smile perfectly at the camera and it’s time to stop panicking when they aren’t “saying cheese.” Some of my absolute favorite photographs happen when they are being exactly themselves. Exploring, cuddling or even just refusing to look at the lens. It’s my job to document you being together with your family. This little man made it very clear he did not want to be in posed photos. So, we let go of the pressure, I made it work and it turned out beautifully. You wouldn’t even know he was protesting!
