A couple of weeks ago I went on a much needed quick break to visit family in Darwin, N.T. I got off the plane, picked up the hire car, headed straight to Mindil, got dinner and made it to the beach in time to take this photo. It was a perfect beginning. 🌅😎
I had almost forgotten how strong my connection to my hometown is. I felt instantly at home and warm. Being able to see family I haven't seen in a while and hang out with my niece, nephew, and great-nephews was just what my heart needed.
Thank you to my beautiful niece and her amazing husband for putting me up for 4 nights on their slice of paradise 🥰
Thank you to my friend, Daisy, and her fiance for coming and spending the evening with us. 😘
Sorry to the cousins I didn't get a chance to catch up with. Next time I'll visit longer.
