Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb event is happening on Saturday 7th of September 2024, Firefighters and Emergency services personnel from across Australia and the globe will descend upon Melbourne to ascend the gruelling 28 Floors of the Crown Metropol raising vital funds for Cancer Research and Crisis Support!
Climbers will battle 28 floors in up to 25kg of turnout gear and breathing apparatus as a symbol of the burden of significant health and well-being issues faced by our first responders and their families on a daily basis, some will also be breathing "on air" through a self contained breathing apparatus adding a extra level of difficulty to their climb.

I had the opertunity to watch some locals train from SES Hamilton Unit and North Hamilton Rural Fire Brigade

This couple got married the other week at the winery just outside of Casterton called Wando Lodge. It's a stunning place to go and have a look at.

Hamilton Fire Brigade junior and senior runners had an informal get together with Colac Fire Brigade and Ararat Fire Brigade .
