Hello gorgeous humans!

Long time, no post.

As I’m assure everyone is very aware, the February 2022 floods have devastatingly destroyed our town and several others right down into NSW. It’s heartbreaking.

Easter is fast approaching and I’m sure there are parents out there who haven’t even had a second to think about anything to do with it.

I am putting together Easter baskets/bags for families who may need a little help. This is not just flood affected families but ANY family who are doing it a little harder than others and might need some help and cheering up.

As a part of this, any services booked with me during the month of March all profits will be going into this project. This includes gift certificates! Gift certificates are valid for a year. So you can gift them to someone else or use them yourself at a later date!

I know it’s something so little to some but to others it could truly just bring a bucket load of happiness. 🤍

FLOOD DAMAGED PHOTOGRAPHS

Try to get to flood-damaged photos within TWO DAYS before the emulsion starts to degrade, they will begin to go mouldy or stick together, making it much less likely they can be salvaged.

How To Separate Photos That Are Stuck Together:

1. Soak The Images In Room Temperature-cold CLEAN Water. Replace water as often as possible. Grit in water can damage photos further.
2. Gently Peel Them Apart.
3. Spread The Wet Photographs On Paper Towels To Dry (do not use newspaper).
4. Gently Apply Heat on the Exposed Area From 6-10 Inches Away. Use hair dryer on lowest heat or allow to dry naturally.
5. Once completely dry, place within pages of a large book, add weight and allow that weight to flatten photographs completely.

This same method can be used to wash muddy photographs, remove photographs from plastic slip albums, out of photo frames (behind glass), Marriage/Birth Certificates, important documents.

**NB Prints on archival art paper may require a more delicate technique and best left for the Professionals.

OH NO! IT'S GONE! 😭💔

I did an update on my page and with a click of a button everything I've posted since February has been deleted. GONE. I'm so gutted.

Please if you're new to my page or have stumbled across it know that I am active and taking on customers. I do post regularly. Facebook has done me diirrttyyyyy.

Over the next few weeks I am going to be resharing some of my favourite images from my shoots this year and it'd mean the world if you could like, comment or share.
