Some of the nicest moments on a wedding day are the quiet ones.

When it feels like everything slows down for a second and it’s just the two of you.

A little breather between the ceremony and whatever’s next.

A slow walk where you finally get to talk.

That first “we actually did it” look you give each other.

Your portraits don’t have to feel like a big performance.

It can just be the two of you hanging out, taking a minute, while I quietly photograph it all.

I’m planning a cosy little picnic shoot for a couple this weekend.

Pinterest moodboards, Hinterland Grazing for the platter, Haruha Ridge for the flowers, a Marketplace table, basket and a rug to pull it all together.

It’s a styled collaboration, but the feeling is real – slow, relaxed, a little bit special, and space for two people to just enjoy each other.

That’s why I love when couples keep it small, keep it honest and choose a day that lets them actually be there together.
