If you are thinking of booking a family session with me, here's a few things you should know..

My approach is simple — I want your session to feel easy, fun, and actually enjoyable.

That means no stiff posing or pressure for perfect smiles. I’d rather let your family settle in, laugh, and just do your thing. I focus on keeping things relaxed so your family can be yourselves.

If the kids need to run, we let them. If someone needs a snack, we pause. And if a little one is having a moment, we stop — because sometimes all that’s needed is a cuddle, a cry, or a reset.

That’s how we get photos that actually feel like you — the real, messy, laugh-out-loud moments you’ll want to remember.

Here’s why before any session with me, I send you a questionnaire. It sounds simple, but your pre-session questionnaire is one of the MOST important parts of the process.

Why?

Because you need time and space to tell me what your family is actually like.

To tell me if your youngest takes a while to warm up to new people, so I am going to give them a little time to suss me out before shoving a camera in their face. Or if your eldest is has lively and outgoing, if the middle child is quiet but will love it if I talk to him about tractors or trucks. If Dad is really not interested and he only wants to be in a few photos so I don’t push… or if dad only wants to be in a few and I NEED to push a little.

It’s your chance to tell me all the things you’re hoping for without having to brave it and tell me or remember it on the day.. so we can make sure you get what YOU want out of your session.
