Went out with Jim Longbottom the other night to try our hand at doing some night photography up near Toodyay. Haven't done this before so was good to have some fun trying. Great night out in the bush and I am sure we will do some more experimenting in the future after Jim has done some more research.

Had the opportunity to take some ballet images of the very talented Eloise recently. At the beach very early for the light and it was cold but she never complained. She was amazing and I think the results have been worth it.

South Sudan - upon our arrival at Emmanuel School we were greeted by singing, laughing and dancing children. It was an amazing celebration and a wonderful experience.

There are about 400 children attending Emmanuel school which GMP supports. The children have lost either one or both parents from the civil war in South Sudan. They are cared for by family members. Schooling gives them a hope of a positive future and the opportunity to go on and achieve a higher education in their colleges. GMP's aim is to assist in developing future leaders one small step at a time. This image shows one child about to head off to school with family and village members in the background.

Recently I had the opportunity to visit South Sudan for Global Mission Partners(GMP)to photograph some of their projects. These children were from Emmanuel School who have been supported by GMP. Life is certainly different in SS but even with all the hardship they face there is joy. I will post more photo's from my trip in the days to follow.
