I have always had a passion for all things rural, which has now come through in my style of photography.

Hi, I’m Tammie and the mind behind Nexus Photography. I’m a country girl who loves the bush, and all things rural. I love to read (not that it happens that often) and spending time with my family and friends. I’m a mum to two children, Ella and Jacob, who definitely ignited my love for taking children’s portraits! After growing up on a farm, my husband, kids and I now live in Goulburn and I

often will travel to country communities for unique rural photoshoots! Nexus

Nexus really is the meaning of photography in my mind, the connection of linking two or more things, photography links the person with a memory and evokes the mind to remember and relive that memory or be taken on a journey of discovery of that moment. I’ve always had a passion for photography which started at school and developing negatives in the darkroom. I love that photography gives you the opportunity to capture a moment in time and hold it for a life time. Memories are so important and photography gives you that opportunity to capture and hold what sometimes the mind forgets. Being able to relive moments that would otherwise be forgotten is a precious thing and I love being able to provide that for my clients and their families. There really is no greater privilege than capturing a couple’s special day… and then one day, you find yourself capturing the wedding of your close friends — cue the slightly nervous photographer 🫣

This is the kind of love story you don’t just witness, you live alongside. The kind you saw blossom, bringing so much light and happiness into both of their lives. The kind that grew into something truly special… and just happened to move in next door — resulting in more coffee dates between the husbands than they have with their wives 😝

Thomo & Tee’s day was nothing short of magical. The most perfect beginning to their next chapter, and one we feel incredibly grateful to have witnessed — and captured — from both sides of the lens 🤍

Congratulations to Chris and Nat on becoming Mr and Mrs on what was a magical Autumn day at The Old Coach Stables.

So many amazing moments, it was hard to select a few for a preview - no doubt I'll do another one in a day or so.

But in the meantime, here are just a few moments in a day full of love, laughter, tears and memories.

Introducing Mr and Mrs McFarlane

It may have been blowing a gale, but it didn't blow away the love and happiness these two have for each other.

Married on the grounds of the historic Goulburn Court House surrounded by an intimate group of family and friends.

Their day was amazing - Geoffrey wearing his grandfathers wedding band, Kathrine's flowers passed down by her Mother in Law.

Spent the morning with Hannah and the crew capturing some moments for them recently.

It was full of laughs and attempts of reindeer dogs and horses - I think the dogs enjoyed eating them more than wearing them.

Introducing Mr and Mrs Burden.

I had the honour of capturing Kym and Ben's amazing day on Saturday.

To say it was an emotional day is an understement - there were lots of happy tears and moments that will never be forgotten.

Luke and Bec said "I Do" yesterday at the in Gunning, and the weather Gods were definitely shining down on these two.

There were so many beautiful elements to the day that told their love story ❤️

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Lang.

Tiff and Jed said "I Do" yesterday at home on their property surrounded by their closest family and friends.

There was no detail left unseen, smarties for Gracie to get down the aisle, bow tie for Duke, gorgeous entry sign on a family heirloom mirror, Tiff arrived in an amazing restored Dodge truck, friends being the something blue, timber milled by Jeds Grandfather used at the reception - the list goes on.

This is what weddings are about - doing what makes you happy and makes your heart sing.

Congratulations again to you both - here is the first of what I can see being a series of posts - so many beautiful moments to share.
