CCLC Camera Club Central Coast Leagues Club Camera Club holds meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each Month CCLC Camera Club is a Sub Club of Central Coast Leagues Club.

This Club is suited to anyone interested in any aspect of photography. Members skills range from Beginners through to Advance. Our Club offers Members the opportunity to participate in Monthly Print and Digital Competitions with our Judges giving critique on each image. Workshops/Presentations in photography/post processing/digital/presentation are also offered to our Members monthly. All Members are required to be Members of the Central Coast Leagues Club.

Last night's workshop meeting with Jim Crew's highly engaging presentation on Taking or Making in Photography was very well attended. Jim's inspirational words had many of us leaving the meeting full of enthusiasm to explore new approaches to our own photography.

It's Workshop meeting time again. Our guest presenter for September is Jim Crew who will be exploring the difference between taking photos as documents or records and making photos as creative or artistic works during his presentation titled "Taking or Making in Photography".

If you would like to attend this presentation then come along on Tuesday, September 1 to the Parkview Room on the 2nd floor. The meeting will commence at 7.30pm.

In addition, the Annual TopShot and Nature Photography Exhibition, Awards and Photo Studio is being held tomorrow, Sunday August 30 from 11am to 5pm at Erina Fair near the Library. Please read the latest email to club members for further details.

Looking forward to seeing members at both events. As usual, all are welcome to gather for dinner prior to Tuesday night's meeting at the club bistro from 6pm.

Our August competition night saw another fabulous collection of print images submitted for judging by Andrew Murrell. Andrew provided great feedback for each image.

Congratulations to all awards recipients in both print and digital competitions. A huge thank you to all members for submitting images and a very well done to members who were first time entrants.

The next print and digital image competition meeting will take place this coming Tuesday, August 18th commencing at 7.30pm. The meeting will be held in the Parkview Room.

Results for the Digital Set Subject of Urban and the Digital Art Category will be announced. Print images in Mono and Colour categories for general and advanced will be judged.

We kindly request that members arrive by 7.15pm to allow time for all images to be displayed on stands prior to the commencement of the meeting.

Members and guests are warmly welcome to meet for dinner prior to the meeting in the club's bistro from 6pm.

A reminder that the entry deadline for print entries for this month's meeting, along with the September Set Digital Subject of Action and September Open Digital Art entries is midnight, Sunday August 16th. Don't forget to submit your entries in time.

The upcoming club meeting will take place on Tuesday, August 4 in the Parkview Room at Central Coast Leagues Club.

Please note this meeting will commence at 7pm as the Annual General Meeting will be taking place. Immediately following the AGM our guest speaker, Gillian Chan, a Sydney based photographer with a passion for "slow photography", will be giving a presentation of this artistic style of photography and the use of Lensbaby lenses. It's sure to be an interesting evening.

All members and guests are welcome to gather prior to the meeting for dinner at the club's bistro prior to the meeting.

Congratulations to all award recipients at the recent digital and print image judging night. Informative and insightful feedback was provided by the judge, Don Munro.

An enormous thanks to all members who entered. We had the highest number of print entries submitted for several years which is very encouraging for the club as a whole. Well done everyone.

All members are invited to attend the next meeting to be held on Tuesday, July 21 commencing at 7.30pm. This is our July print and digital competition meeting so we kindly request all members to have print entries placed on display stands by 7.15 to allow the meeting to commence on time.

There will be a powerpoint display of entries for the July set topic of Portraits followed by judging of all print entries.

Members and guests are warmly invited to gather in the bistro from 6pm for dinner and a social catch up prior to the meeting.

Please note you have until 11.59pm, Sunday July 19 to submit print entries for Tuesday night and digital entries for the August set topic of Urban. Don't forget to enter. đŸ˜€

Congratulations to all award recipients at last night's competition meeting. Another wonderful collection of images were viewed by all attendees.

Our upcoming meeting will be held this Tuesday, June 16 commencing promptly at 7.30. This is our monthly competition meeting so we kindly request that all members have their prints on the stands by 7.15 to allow the meeting to commence on time.

Please note instead of meeting in the Parkview Room, this meeting will be held in the Terrace Room. Due to a section of this room being open to the outdoors the temperature may be cool so please dress warmly.

As always, members and guests are welcome to meet in the club's bistro at 6pm for dinner and a social chat.

If you haven't yet entered your prints for Tuesday night judging nor your images for the digital topic of Portraits or digital creative, you have until midnight tonight, Sunday June 14 to do so. Please get your entries in. See you all on Tuesday night.

A great attendance by members at our workshop meeting who were inspired by a presentation from renowned mono photographer Dex.

His images portrayed how beautiful light, reflections, graphic shapes and layers inspire him to take photos, all on his iPhone.
