CCLC Camera Club

CCLC Camera Club Central Coast Leagues Club Camera Club holds meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each Month CCLC Camera Club is a Sub Club of Central Coast Leagues Club.

This Club is suited to anyone interested in any aspect of photography. Members skills range from Beginners through to Advance. Our Club offers Members the opportunity to participate in Monthly Print and Digital Competitions with our Judges giving critique on each image. Workshops/Presentations in photography/post processing/digital/presentation are also offered to our Members monthly. All Members are required to be Members of the Central Coast Leagues Club.

A great attendance by members at our workshop meeting who were inspired by a presentation from renowned mono photographer Dex.

His images portrayed how beautiful light, reflections, graphic shapes and layers inspire him to take photos, all on his iPhone.

The club's next meeting is being held on Tuesday, June 2 commencing at 7.30pm. We will be welcoming guest speaker, Dex Dijkstra, who shall be sharing with us insights into the world of monochrome street photography. Dex is a master at this genre using only an iPhone. The club's next print and digital image competition night will be held this coming Tuesday, May 19 commencing at 7.30pm. We kindly request members to place their print images on the stands by 7.15 to allow the meeting to commence promptly at 7.30.

Members and guests are welcome to meet in the bistro for dinner prior to the meeting at 6pm.

Unfortunately the planned outing to Luna Park scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday March 21 has been cancelled. This decision was made due to the possibility of wet weather and disruption to the ferry services running from Circular Quay to Luna Park. The event will be rescheduled to a date later this year.

Competition night is always an opportunity to appreciate other member's images and to learn ways to improve your own photography thanks to constructive feedback from a judge.

Images on display tonight were diverse in subject and photographic styles. Congratulations to all award recipients, in particular to new members who entered for their first time and received recognition.

There was "happy snapping" in abundance at the Flora photography workshop this evening.

Following an informative presentation by Don Munro, club members had the opportunity to practice new skills at four work stations located around the room. The use of lighting, backdrops, props and flowers gave everyone the opportunity to practice creating their own images.

The next club workshop meeting will be taking place this coming Tuesday, March 3. Don Munro will be our guest presenter and he will be running a workshop on flower photography.

If you would like to participate, please bring along your camera gear, tripod and a flower/s to photograph.

Please gather at the Parkview Room by 7.15 so we can commence promptly at 7.30. Members and guests are warmly invited to meet at the club's bistro for dinner at 6pm, prior to the meeting.

A sensational start to the year at the first competition night. Members enjoyed viewing an outstanding number of quality images in both print and digital format.

Congratulations to all award recipients, in particular to those who entered images for the first time. Well done everyone.

Our first competition meeting for 2026 is being held this coming Tuesday, February 17 commencing at 7.30pm. We kindly request that all print images being submitted for judging are placed on the stands by 7.15 thus allowing the meeting to begin on time.

Please note there is a change of location for this meeting only. It will be held in the Terrace Room which is located on the 3rd floor.

All members and guests are welcome to gather together for dinner prior to the meeting at the bistro from 6pm. Looking forward to another great roll up of members and guests. See you there.
