OMGOSH, Where do I start, what an action packed workshop (pardon the pun)
Yesterday I spent a fabulous wet rainy day devoted to my craft at an action workshop with the incredible .ed
Charlotte & Craig are masters of their craft and are world leaders in the pet photography industry I was beyond bloody excited to soak up like a sponge all the expert tips & tricks to action in dog photography.
You never stop learning they say and it’s so true!
After spending half the day in theory with many other likeminded talented photographers from interstate and overseas we then got to go out and put into practice what we learnt with some gorgeous super models.
Now in all honestly conditions were far from ideal, in-fact never the conditions I would shoot in, you know me I will always opt to reschedule if the forcast isn’t going to be good!
But I love the expression you can always make lemonade out of lemons.
And this is why a fully edited image looks so much better, the sky was absolutely grey, flat and dull and slightly raining, which got worse unfortunately, but when you have a photographer like me totally obsessed with clouds and spends her spare time roaming usually barefoot around the neighbourhood taking photos of pretty clouds, you now know why and that I’m not that crazy after all 🤣 transforming dull boring skies elevates an image to another level.
Full credit to the very handsome Merlin the border Collie, who nailed the brief and in true Border Collie fashion was full of high energy 🩵🩵🩵
